Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of multiple cars from a house in Little Brickhill near Milton Keynes.

The incident occurred at 2am on Monday (21/10) on Watling Street in Little Brickhill.

Offenders gained access through the rear of a property and car keys were taken which were then used to steal a grey Range Rover Sport, a Black Range Rover SVR and an electric blue Toyota Hilux.

Investigating officer DC Christopher Smart, said, “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and who believes they may have witnessed, or have doorbell footage, of the offenders driving away to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I’d also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage to contact us.

“You can contact us by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240506694.

“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Police officers in Milton Keynes took action against anti-social and dangerous drivers at a car cruise in the city on Sunday (20/10).

Working in partnership with Milton Keynes City Council, Thames Valley Police confirmed their officers made three arrests.

Police confirmed one arrested was made on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug driving and possession of a controlled class B drug and two on suspicion of drug driving.

Officers issued a further nine tickets for vehicle offences.

Six Section 59 warnings were issued to people for vehicles being used in a manner which causes alarm, distress or annoyance. One vehicle was also seized for having no insurance.

The action is part of ongoing work to tackle those choosing to drive in an anti-social or dangerous manner in the city. This includes the ongoing Public Space Protection Order for vehicle related anti-social behaviour which is in place for the whole of Milton Keynes.

Chief Inspector of Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Policing, Jade Hewitt, said, “We know that car cruise events are a cause for concern for our local communities due to the anti-social and sometimes dangerous driving displayed by a small minority of attendees.

“Not all attendees are joining to act in a dangerous or anti-social way and are purely car enthusiasts so we have been working hard to balance this in our approach.

“I hope these outcomes from just one car cruise event over the weekend show the robust, zero-tolerance stance that we are taking to this behaviour.

“This was a joint operation in collaboration with Milton Keynes City Council who took action against illegal street traders operating at the car cruise.

“We will continue to work with partners over the coming weeks and months to intercept those who choose to visit our city to drive dangerously.”

Cabinet Member for Community Safety, Cllr Councillor Amber McQuillan said: “Everyone has the right to live happily and healthily in a safe environment. For too long, dangerous car cruising has caused misery for local people disrupting their everyday lives through glaring music, loud exhausts and driving recklessly. It’s not acceptable and my thanks go out to our partners at Thames Valley Police who are tackling this head on.”

The family of a man missing from Milton Keynes have launched new appeals to the public for help in locating him.

Thomas, who is 26-years-old, has been missing from the Chester Close area of Bletchley since around 12.30am on Sunday 6 October.

Despite widespread and ongoing searches, Thames Valley Police have so far been unable to locate him, and today, his mother and partner have launched a further appeal to reach out to the community for help.

Thomas’s mother, Deborah, said, “We urge anybody who is out and about walking especially dog walkers to please keep an eye open for Thomas.

“He prefers to be outside in secluded places away from the public eye.

“Thomas if you hear or see this please come home we are all missing you and love you so much.

“Lots of love mum and family.”

His partner, Casey, added, “I would just like to say please don’t give up on Tom. Please keep sharing and searching, keeping your eyes open to help bring him home where he belongs with his family and with his children.

“Tom if you read this, please know I love you so much and the kids are really missing their daddy.

“I can’t do this alone I really need you back, the kids are heartbroken that they don’t have their dad at the moment.

“We want to get you the help you need to carry on living life to watch our babies grow up, they need you Tom, I need you and we love you.”

The search area for Thomas has been widened to rural areas around Bletchley, Newton Longville, Mursley and Great and Little Brickhill.

The Mounted Section will be in the area of Newton Longville and Mursley today as the search continues for Thomas, who is 6ft tall with a slim build.”

He often wears black tracksuit bottoms and black jumpers and a blue hooded top, and also wears black Adidas trainers with three stripes on them.

Detective Chief Inspector Emily Shepherd said: “Despite extensive searches across Milton Keynes, Bletchley, the Brickhills and surrounding areas, we have not been able to locate Thomas.

“Naturally, our concern for his safety is increasing day by day, and so we are again re-appealing today.

“Do you think you may have seen Thomas at any point after 6 October? If so, you can report possible sightings via our dedicated missing persons’ portal, or call us on 101.

“If you believe you see Thomas, please call us immediately on 999, quoting reference 43240480455.

“Do you know other areas where he may frequent? Any piece of information, no matter how insignificant you think this may be, may help us to locate him.

“Thomas has not taken his mobile phone with him, and he is known to sometimes walk long distances.

“I would once again reiterate my appeal to anybody on the Racecourse of Saints Estates in Bletchley to please check CCTV, dash-cams or door-bell footage and get in touch with us if you think it has captured anything that can help locate Thomas.

“Similarly, if you live in the Great and Little Brickhill areas, please check any footage you have and contact us if you think you have any information that can assist us.

“I would also again urge members of the public to check sheds, garages and outbuildings in case Thomas has taken refuge somewhere.

“Thomas, if you see this appeal, please call us. We have officers and staff who can help you. You are not in any trouble at all, but your family and we are extremely concerned for you.

“Please contact us to let us know where you are.”

MK Dons squeezed out Accrington Stanley with a 2-1 victory at Stadium MK in League Two.

The Dons took a first minute lead through Alex Gilbey and doubled their lead through Joe Tomlinson in the second half.

The visitors got a goal back through substitute Josh Woods, but MK Dons were just about able to keep their guests at arm’s length, in the process holding out to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Victory also saw the Dons move into 12th, in the process seeing the team move into the top half of the table for the first time this season.

MK Dons had opted to stick with the same starting eleven that had won at Morecambe at the weekend ahead of a big test against an Accrington Stanley side that had won each of the previous three league games.

But the Dons were able to make the fastest possible start. Before the opening minute of the game had elapsed, a rushed clearance by Zach Awe fell kindly for Gilbey, who was able to charge to meet the ball and clip a first time strike into the back of the net.

Despite the early shock of conceding, it was Accrington Stanley who ended up having moments going forward. Dara Costelloe had a strike blocked by Nico Lawrence, before Shaun Whalley came close with a long range free-kick that Tom McGill had to parry past his post.

Costelloe would then fire wide from a good position, while a cross by Conor O’Brien would narrowly clear McGill’s crossbar.

The second half began with Stanley still applying pressure but MK Dons were able to keep things from their own goal, and just before the hour mark, they would find themselves a second goal.

Conor Lemonhaigh-Evans’ cross was blocked by a covering defender, but first to the loose ball was Tomlinson. In turn, the Dons’ wing-back was able to try his luck from range and hit the jackpot with a strike that crashed into the back of the net.

Gilbey would have a strike blocked by Farrend Rawson moments later, but the visitors retained a threat as substitute Tyler Walton had a shot blocked and Donald Love saw a strike kept out by McGill.

Accrington would halve the deficit with just over 20 minutes of normal time to go, as Walton’s cross found his fellow sub Woods, who duly tapped in.

The flow of the game would then begin to stutter, however, with a lunge on Tomlinson leading to a melee and a series of niggly fouls see the referee’s yellow card begin to be seen more often, including a yellow to Dean Lewington despite the Dons defender still being on the bench.

Alex Henderson would see a shot deflected wide off MJ Williams, with appeals for a handball denied, while MK Dons nearly bundled their way to a third goal when Billy Crellin had to stop scorer Woods putting a diving header into his own net and Gilbey firing over.

McGill made late saves to deny Henderson and Walton, before Ben Woods’ strike had to be tipped over, but the home side were largely keeping firm as the game moved into six minutes of stoppage time.

This stoppage time was extended when Tom Carroll suffered a knock from a foul by former Dons man Ashley Hunter, but the hosts ultimately saw the job through to pick up the three points.
